Valentine’s day was coming up and I wanted to do something special for my mother and me. Our skin was starting to look dull and lifeless since the air quality in Mumbai has become so horrible in the last few months. So, we decided to do a mother-daughter at home spa day and who better to call than the makeO skinnsi’s professionals to brighten up our skin and moods. I just went on the website and gave them some details about what I wanted, and they called me right away and booked a slot. This is my review on their services and results of their at home hydrafacials.
The therapists were right on time with all the equipment at my place and super professional. They were very hygienic and sanitized all of the equipment before use. They checked my mom’s and my skin and was able to tell exactly what type of glow up we would be needing. They suggested us to do the dermafacial that would hydrate our skin and leave it with a plump glow. The treatments are completely dermatologist backed and they suggested to add in a brightening compound for my face since I travel in the sun a lot and my skin was a bit tanned. For my mother, they suggested her to add in a face lifting compound as part of her dermafacial. The therapists were super gentle and knew exactly what they were doing. They really took the time to understand my skin type and if I had any reactions to any products previously. They even set it up very professionally which was very comforting since it was at home but felt professional enough as well.
The facial consisted of 4 steps – cleansing, exfoliating, nourishing, skin tightening. The results for both my mom and me were amazing. Our skin looked plump, rested, glowing and tight. For me the facial completely smoothened and brightened my skin and purified my pores, removed that dull feeling of dead skin, dark spots and tanning and left me with a gorgeous glow. For my mother, her skin looked much more tight. Her fine lines and spots looked significantly less visible.
After this they explained the after-care procedures and explained how we could get in touch with them if there was any issue with our skin. A dermatologist can consult with us if any adverse reaction was to occur. The only result that we had though, was beautiful glowing skin after the facials and such a nice time spent bonding as mother-daughter at the comfort of our home where we could talk openly and enjoy our mid facial chai and pakodas. We were perfectly ready for an amazing valentine’s day dinner date as a girl’s most prized accessory is a glowing face!
